As per tones, I just report them to Creepy Don. But he has noticed that sometimes his contributing ear tone sensitives report almost the same data for the same period of time.

Sorry to disagree with you, but not all people hear tones. I'm the only one in my family who hears them plus gets the "special effect" that seems crucial to one of Don's parameters.

Again, I can't explain this they why of it all. I couldn't build a TV, but I know how to work the remote control. (Sometimes.)
