Hi EQF. If the virus is that new then how did you learn about it? SOBIG G is the next one expected but so far there hasn’t been any sign of it. The two I posted were loaded into my antivirus program yesterday and today. Some of the antivirus programs coming out now are sophisticated enough to detect an unknown virus based on the coding that is used. It works sort on the principal that if it looks like a virus treated it as if it were one. I got an attachment a couple of days from a person I know. Runs the same system on his computer that I do. I went to open it and got a message from my antivirus program saying “malicious script, Suggest deleting.” I did, and then called him. He hadn’t had his computer on all day which means someone else has the virus in their computer also has his and my address in their computer. There are only a couple of people we know that has both our addresses. One of them is known to be very lax in his antivirus program. Most likely hasn’t updated it since we installed it for him, which was about 2 years ago.
