Not a good sign

Chris, during the past few months I have been seeing extensive amounts of information regarding this subject matter. There has been so much information circulated that I have had to turn down offers for more.

Trying to summarize things, the following might be occurring:

1. Strong solar storms can cause geomagnetic storms to occur. This appears to be a generally accepted fact by scientists around the world.

2. When at least some fault zones are getting close to fracturing and producing a reasonably high magnitude earthquake they can cause strong geomagnetic storms to occur. I myself do not know how they might be doing that.

So, one could propose that if strong geomagnetic storm activity is being detected and there are no recent solar storms to point to as likely sources of the storm activity then some strong earthquake activity might be on the horizon. Also, after seeing your note I checked the latest geomagnetic tables and agree that there appears to have been some especially strong activity lately. I normally check them once a day but have not had time to do that during the past week.
