Hi all! Based on my experience, the precursor of 21st July Yunnan quake was registered in my observatory beginning from 7th to 13th of July and it should have been occured on 15th of July itself. But the it was delayed. Anyway I have published it on 13th July itself in my site and still it is there. While I have checked my old data, it has perfectly matched with the precursor of 15th January 2001 of Yunnan (26E 101E) quakes of 5.2M and 5.9M. Though I expected the result around 15th of July i.e. the day in which 7.6M of Carlsberg Ridge quake occurred, it further delayed. Again I was watching continuously the earthmovement and I have noticed a slight disturbance on 19th July and another precursor on 20th indicating around 5M quake formation over Yunnan. But subsequently on 21st instant i.e. roughly nine hours before the incident, I have noticed that the magnitude was increased beyond 5.5M. Since the diffused sunlight prevailing for the last several days over my place has create a little doubt about the precursor, hence I was waiting for the result. Finally it was happened on 21st July 03. In the year 2001 as well as 2003 the quake was made same amount of damages. So based on my experience the formation of quake over Yunnan begins a week before the Carlsberg Ridge quake and ended after a week of Carlsberg Ridge quake! Please note that NEW BRITAIN (6S 148E) was jolted with 5.3M quake on 15th Jan. 2001 as well as on 21st July 2003 that too the same intervel of hours difference with Yunnan quakes in both the cases. Any thoughts? Shan 24th July 2003
NOTE: Yesterday earthmovement further indicates moderate to strong aftershocks over Yunnan and other places as detailed in my website.
