Hi Chris,

You didn't say if you noticed or not but the flares hit right in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and the effects go from the edge of WA,OR & CA, to more density in AK and of course Hawaii still even greater. It stretches all the way to the Eastern Pacific just west of Indonesia.

I cannot think of a better place for such a large flare to hit. It's perfect.
