Hi Canie, I was planning to post a note regarding the outcome of that other note that I had posted about a possible approaching earthquake. But you saved me the trouble. I did circulate a formal warning or advisory recommending that people check their precursor data for around May 16 and between 134E and 143E in the Japan area.

There were actually two earthquakes in that area. And they both made it into the news. But I did not consider either to be especially significant. At worst they only rattled some buildings from what I heard.
