Hi EQF. Using your longitudes of 134.0E-143.0E that is a distance of 500 miles. You didn’t give a latitude so I used 35.0N for both longitudes. If I had used 36.0N for one of them the area would have been larger. That’s a fairly large area so getting a hit shouldn’t be too difficult. You made an off hand prediction on 05/12/2003. It was very general in nature although Canie did say you told her that your top preliminary location for it was in the Japan area. Now Japan isn’t a very big country. It’s just a tad bit smaller then the State of California unless of course you count all the small islands under the influence of Japan then it’s a little bigger then the State of California. Still that is an awful lot of territory to cover. It doesn’t do much good just to say it’s going to be in this country, or that country.

The following is from the ANSS catalog, but can also be found on Red Puma. There were 4 quakes to the east of Honshu before you made your post. Some one seeing these quakes occurring in the manner that they did could speculate that the next one could be just a tad further to the west then again maybe it would occur a little further to the east.
