Thanks for the update Chris - It sure sounds interesting. Did you put together a poster on that info or was it an oral presentation? Didn't you say you were coming to the Pacific Section AAPG here in Long Beach in May? It sure sounds like Istanbul is in for a rude awakening sometime in the future. One thing Tom mentioned in one of his talks when I saw him recently is that the construction from hundreds of years ago is better than today's - better designed to withstand earthquakes! Canie
