Hi EQF,

Well, tonight I'm going to say something you probably never thought you'd hear from me, and that is that I am proud of you for trying. Sure the program has some bugs to work out, but at least you are in a position to make some kind of description of your program. So good for you.

However, we have to remember to go forward, not backward. This is the time to embrace what is going to occur in the future, not using data from past quakes, but future events and events which you should be publically posting. If you want to demonstrate your program works, then you've got to be willing to hang it all out there.

It would be far better to be wrong in public and state your case, than to not be believed because you never made a public prediction. Yeah, its tough going, but I think you'll find a lot more respect if you do just what everyone needs you to do and meet the requirements everyone else follows.

If you are really serious in your heart in saying it is for them, other people who need to know, then give of your heart and do it here where the lines of communication are open. It beats being under the delete key in a lot of other places.

There are two rules in life:
1. Nothing is perfect
2. Nothing is random

#1 we can work on, and #2 we have to learn to understand.

While you may wish for other scientists to work with your program, since it is yours, it is up to you to demonstrate that it works to their satisfaction. If you can do that, then maybe someone out there will notice and the long overdue help you've been looking for, will at last arrive.

Cheers! Petra
