Orinda - Something New
Posted by Petra Challus on March 24, 2003 at 20:28:38:

Hi All,

I see Orinda, CA, which sits just behind the Berkeley hills has had 5 minor earthquakes today. This is very unusual and once again we are treated to a series of quakes instead of the normal of one or sometimes two in the same place.

Orinda sits near the edge of a reservoir, but other than that its like most places in the Bay Area, infrequent to earthquakes, but highly infrequent to quake clusters, swarms, or series groups.
