Hi Kiddo. Swarms while not usually seen in this area they have had some good ones in the past. The largest swarm started on 01/08/1977 and ended on 01/25/1977 for a total of 64 quakes within a 5-mile radius of the current mini swarm. This is from the ANSS catalog.

The largest quake in that series was a 4.5Md. It was quake number 8 in the swarm and occurred at 09:38. There were four 3.0+ quakes that followed in less then a 14-minute period. There was a 3.0Md on 01/23/1977 and a 3.1Md on 01/24/1977. There have been other swarms, but not at this level. Take Care…Don in creepy town
