Billion, Canie, I can't tell without knowing which fault map, but the heavy outlines may be faulots that have ruptured historically-the 1952 (?) Kern County quake was on or near the White Wolf, the one north of Hollywood might have been San Fernando or Northridge. Some, not all, blocks in the Mohave have had clockwise rotations but I don't know if these are still rotating. I don't know if the block north of Garlock is rotating or has rotated.

By the way, I was impatient with 2Cents hydro whatever link on an alternative to plate tectonics. I could have gone point by point on how all the things the post said were not explained are actually well explained, and mentioned a lot of errors in the post, but it would have taken an hour or 2. While science theories are sometimes shown to be wrong, and science evolves, that link was poorly informed. I get a little nervous about these sorts of things-its like denying that we landed on the moon, or that the holocaust happened. I especially would not want Creation Science taught in schools.
