Thanks for furthering my understanding of the region and its complexities. The way the Garlock intersects the San Andreas has always fascinated me.
By the way, don't hate me for this Chris, but despite my engineering degree, I don't think we ever really landed a man on the moon :-) If it makes any difference, I did believe it up until about age 39. I don't want you to have to waste your time beating a dead horse about the facts, so I'll conceed I may be wrong just to save you the frustration (laugh). I know I'm in the minority with my opinion, and accept the fact that many people think the idea is ludicrous.
You should of seen the balking when I tried to get some of my co-workers to watch the video "Was it only a paper moon"! Many came up to me later and asked to borrow the tape though. I don't even know where it is now.
