Re: After the quake: 'We need help' |
Hi Jan. Just out of curiosity I thought I would take a look see at where you live and what you could expect in the way of shake, rattle and roll in the event of an M>7.0 quake centered on the Rodgers Creek fault in the Santa Rosa area. What I found wasn’t all that bad, but it isn’t all that good either. You are in the “red” zone where as Petra is in the “black” zone. If that “puppy” occurs and she is living at the place she’s living at now she is going to be able to do a lot of Wahooing. Knowing her she will do exactly that and then get down to business of surviving which she will do. She’s a fighter and her survival instincts are second to none. In a way I feel sorry for the quake, as it doesn’t have a chance against her. There is a slight chance that the road you live on could be damaged to the point that it couldn’t be used. I know there are two ways to get in an out, but being as how both ways are close to one another both could be damaged to the extent that they wouldn’t be useable. This isn’t meant to frighten you, but to put you in a mind set to be a survivor. You start thinking like one you will be one.
