Nebraska earthquake prior to Alaska event |
In keeping with our prior observations, you should note the unusual earthquake in Nebraska just prior to the earthquake in Alaska. In 1964 about an hour before the great Good Friday earthquake, a moderate earthquake occurred in South Dakota several hours prior to that event. This is probably the strongest earthquake within the continental mass of North America since the Good Friday earthquake in the same area in 1964.
