I've been at sea for a few days and am behind on reading this page. I did see an email that the Alaska quake may have been on the same fault as the one a little while ago-the Denali fault-the email says that if a M7.9 it might have ruptured 300 km of the fault. It does seem to be an active and interesting week-a volcanic eruption in Ecuador was on the news, and I think Etna was on the news a week or so ago.....
