Geomagnetic storm question

After what I thought was a somewhat unusual lull in geomagnetic storm activity we are now in what appears to me to period of fairly intense geomagnetic activity.

If I understand the theory correctly, electron type storms are supposed to suppress earthquake activity while proton type storms enhance that activity. Would anyone care to propose what this latest storm is likely to do?
