The weekly stats and numbers I oresented are for Southern Cal only - the map is for all of california and nevada - not quite the same.

The Map you are looking at is published by University of Reno - its 2 weeks of data - the 'normal' california/nevada that's published in california (by several intitutions) currently shows 286 for the last week giving 309 for the prior week (given 595 showing at this moment on the nevada UNR map)

Of the 286 for this week (even though the data isn't quite a match because of what day the 'week' ends on) 196 of them were in Southern Cal and of the 309 for the prior week 214 were in southern california.

Or Northern Cal & Nevada: 90 for this week and 95 last week. I don't have the historical weekly numbers for northern cal and nevada. Northern cal used to publish a weekly summery - do they still do that?

Just looking at the numbers - there's really nothing out of line going on here. (they are actually down this week...)
