Be careful with these numbers-sometimes I've seen the USGS page not keep count correctly. I've seen it at many hundreds for a week and there are clearly not that many quakes plotted. It has been somewhat active in southern California lately, but as Canie suggests that may be normal, rather than the depressed levels we were talking about in the spring....Chris
