They do admit to changes in animal behavior but also say its difficult to judge whether its quake related or not and there's some reference to the moon: There have, however, been some small but significant correlations reported between the semi-diurnal tides and the rate of occurrence of aftershocks in some volcanic regions, such as Mammoth Lakes.
