Re: EQ prediction FOR JAPAN

Welcome to our board.

Last night, while sitting in Palm Springs, I had four very strong and strong signals for that many quakes somewhere around Japan. I think Honshu, but it could be further north. Maybe, the Kurils.

I haven't had time to update the Critical EQ Windows, but there are now two TL PRs in critical and they range from 7.5 and up. Since posting, I have had three more S TL spikes, but I know we had a number of +6s while I was gone and I will have to sort that out tomorrow. But I know none of the EQs were large enough to match the S+. Tonight, I had a very clear left ear tone and know my left ear to be sensitive to TL quakes.

For these factors, I agree with your prediction and most strongly recommend that you find a safe location from now; 12/3 through 12/9.

In the past, it has only taken a 60 minute pressure to produce a +8 quake. I have no idea what a 150 minute one might produce, but I cannot much imagine it to be less than an 8.8 if located anywhere around Japan. Should this quake occur in the ocean, then, indeed, a great wave could be produced.

I am hoping that the signals I got last night were not strong enough to indicate this quake, but the first one was very much like the one I got before the Kuril's 8.4(?) several years ago. If Japan must get a large quake, let's hope it it the 60MM which produces it.
