Well you be correct. It just seems like there's been lots of smoke and mystery surrounding the 103, etc. FFA and the germ of the idea showed up back when the Landers quake happened (I think...) OR much earlier (a S. Carolina quake after a Med. quake?). So you'd think that a paper expanding on the idea would have emerged by now. Maybe the risk/benefit ratio dictated to "not touch it".

I suppose a full up lit. search might turn up something (like maybe the one Lowell referred to ...).

As far as a new program goes, how about a program that read a file with lat/long pairs and plots points on a North American map?
