Harrrr, Shiver Me Timbers |
Harrrr, Shiver me timbers. Had cataract surgery for my right eye this morning. Now I have to wear a patch over it for a couple of days. I wanted a black one, but the nurse told me that because I was such a good patient I would get a white one. Sure hope it doesn’t ruin my image or reputation. It has taken me to many years to become the mean and despicable person I am. All joking aside. For those who are considering cataract surgery all I can say is get it done. Prepping for the surgery takes longer then the surgery itself and the only discomfort is having to look at a bright light while the doctor removes the cataract. You don’t feel a thing. It took about 9 minutes to remove it and insert the new lens. They make a 3mm incision in the corner of your eye, and then use ultra sound to break up the lens. They remove the pieces through the incision and insert the new lens through the same incision. That’s it you’re done.
