Hi Tony. Age has nothing to do with it. It’s the mileage and I have had some rough miles. Bunches of them as a matter of fact.

As to the problem with predicting major quakes for Southern California. It could be almost anything, but the most likely reason is that there just isn’t enough data for a specific area.
