So. California Earthquake Drought |
Just a note on the earthquake drought in southern California 32.5N - 35N. I still don't believe there has been a Ml>=3 event in this area since April 4, - that is about 44 days. This drought is approaching the longest recorded since modern seismological techniques were introduced into the cataloging in 1932. The longest was 47 days in 1946 - but this is the second longest. Only 3 more days to a new record. Is it about time to stop looking at the Bay area and start a new contest for southern California? Why don't we revisit Chris' in Suburbia's contest Follow Ups: ● Re: Drought Over - Canie 13:08:17 - 5/21/2002 (15779) (0) ● old contest still on also - chris in suburbia 08:19:02 - 5/20/2002 (15752) (0) ● So.
