Hi Cathryn, there are probably a number of people who are earthquake sensitive and who use map reading procedures like that one to tell where earthquakes could be about to occur. So, you have some company. At least one person spins a globe and tries to stop it at the earthquake location. I have not seen any data regarding how well those procedures work. But some people apparently believe that they can produce good results. Rev. Bob Shannon might know some other people who use them.
