Quite a few of the earthquake precursor signals which I am monitoring which were collected during the past few months matched that earthquake. And I believe that at least some of them had their origins in that fault zone. One exact match was also observed about nineteen hours after the earthquake. That type of thing happens quite often.

Four signals which might have been somehow linked with the earthquake are among the most unusual I have ever observed. There are perhaps five different types of precursor signals that I am working with. On April 4, 2002 one particular type was observed. And about two minutes later a strong, 7 second “Right Ear Tone” was heard. The same thing happened again on April 26. But in that case the Ear Tone lasted only about two seconds. It is my expectation that in both cases, two completely different electromagnetic energy field fluctuation type signals were generated by some type of activity occurring in the same fault zone. The time delay between the signals might have had something to do with the distance between the fault zone and me. Or it might have been linked with different fault zone area events which took place within a few minutes of one another.

In almost a decade of monitoring those signals I cannot recall ever observing two like that occur within a few minutes of one another. And with such an event I would actually have expected the Ear Tone to occur before the other signal. However, as I do not really know how any of those signals are being generated in the first place it would be difficult to propose how they should behave. At least both groups behaved in the same manner.

With regard to possible geomagnetic effects, the sun was directly above 117E longitude and 6N latitude when the first group of signals was observed, above 137E and 14N when the second group was observed, and above 142E and 15N when the earthquake occurred. And so, at each time it was very roughly 90 degrees to the west of the fault zone.
