Hmmm...maybe they rerouted the funding to purchase more sensors for S. CA, etc. That's too bad. I'm sure there was enough pork in the budget for each congressman's pet project(s). Very thoughtful offer. The next generation of earthquake forecasting and prediction is surely on the way .... Hmmm...any chance they would post any of their successes (in the last five years)? Are they going to publish anything (or is this the group that has been trying to do this already)? I'm sure your presence on the board will be missed. I believe that Maine might have a few good shakers in store so you may feel "right at home" there. I'm sure some folks will be suffering from "Daily Summary" withdrawal symptoms after you depart the board as a regular contributor.
