Actually, the first was December 1976, so they have been at this for more than
25 years. Maybe 25 years is enough time to figure a few things out.
As for knowing something is coming, Don has been pretty accurate with
his forecasts but I don't see a stampede out of California in case the M 6
actually does occur. Californians are a pretty sophisticated group and are
not scared by something like that. Chances are if a large earthquake were
to occur less would be killed than in last night's tornados.
