a story (irony)

Yesterday, the NY city news (ABC local) went into the Jewelery shop of our next-door neighbors and friends to ask if they felt the earthquake near Platsburg. Their son was in a 3rd floor of a dormitory in Platsburg. So, the neighbor end up on the news, seen by 100s of thousands of people. Meanwhile I (we) labor on for years and maybe a handful of people read my (our) papers. I find this somewhat ironic..I'll ask them how strong the shaking was in his dorm room.....was in the 90s (to 97) and upper 80s all last week. Now it is forecast to snow, at least in the hills, tonight. That may be normal for Colorado foothills but not for NY city suburbs! If this was California, there would be talk of earthquake weather. Chris
