Better have Don run that search again. I get 139 events within that radius using
our database. At least two recent ones should be listed in the USGS listing -
a Ml 4.2 on Jan 18, 2000 and a Ml 4.0 on Sept. 22, 1999. They may have slightly
different epicenters from NEIS which puts them outside the range. But the trouble,
as has been noted on this board before, of using the NEIS listing for any kind of
hazard analysis is that they simply don't include the vast majority of local earthquakes.
The epicenters from NCSN are far superior to NEIS for this region.

By the way you mentioned reading the day's summary for two reasons - what
was the second? And why is the title of your reply "Is this a test?"
