Re: Melted anchors and melted nets - same song second verse?

Most of these effects with the melted anchors and glowing objects in the ocean water sound to me like massive electric currents could be at work. Perhaps this represents energy from the Earth's geomagnetic field draining into a fault zone just before an earthquake.

With the light emitting bubbles, there are a number of possible light emission mechanisms including the following: Electrons can be promoted to high energy orbitals in the atoms or molecules involved. They then decay to lower energy orbitals. And a photon of light is emitted. An electron can combine with an ionized atom or molecule. And a photon will be emitted. A third light emission mechanism referred to as electron “slowing” can occur in high temperature plasmas. That would not seem to be the case here. These types of effects are common with noble gases such as helium and argon. Everyone has heard of “neon” lights, another noble gas at work.

Regardless of what light is emitted I seriously doubt that the types of temperatures needed for nuclear fusion would be achieved. Also, I seem to remember that you ordinarily need to have proton and neutron pairs for fusion to occur (one half of a helium nucleus). And they would be found only in “heavy water,” not standard laboratory chemicals.

These are my own opinions.
