Hey All:

I think the "Best Fit" concept is a doomed approach as everybody's definition of best fit differs, and it would probably take an act of congress to make any proposed "fit" stick.

Maybe a program that allows the assignment of valid ranges in time, place, and magnitude along with the ability to attach a significance value to each of the three parameters might be the ticket.

This would let the user decide what was valuable and what wasn't.
