At the time that that catasrophic earthquake occurred in India during January of 2001 I had already been on and off the telephone with people for about 5 hours trying to get them prepared for what I thought could be an approaching massively destructive earthquake.

And I circulated what I feel were two excellent forecasts for an earthquake in China during the weeks before the fairly destructive one which, if I remember correctly, occurred there last October 27.

People like to know when a destructive earthquake is going to occur. They are not usually concerned about the harmless ones.
