Please use "EQF" if you wish to refer to the notes which I post here etc. I would prefer that you and other people not use EDG or my name.

I talk on a regular basis regarding a variety of topics with people around the world who are in sensitive positions in governments agencies etc. Discussions in Internet Bulletin Boards can get a little heated at times. And I specifically created “EQF” for use in notes posted to this EarthWaves bulletin board so that if and when things which might be less than friendly are said then those comments will likely be confined to this board. Such conversations would I feel be less likely to affect people who are not posting notes here. As someone who has an association with a government agency you yourself should appreciate efforts like that which are aimed at protecting the interests of other people who are in similar positions.

The informal earthquake forecasting program which I am running is evolving and I feel improving fairly rapidly. And I will state once again that some of the information which you yourself have posted here has helped make that possible. I am quite appreciative of your efforts along those lines and have repeatedly pointed that out both in notes posted here and in private e-mail notes sent to different people.

My personal forecasting program is an effort which is presently being run for free for humanitarian purposes. The amount of time which I have available to do this type of work is limited. And for that and other reasons I cannot send a record of every communication that I have with other people to you. To a certain extent, notes which I post here represent progress reports regarding this effort. And if you wish to believe, state, or imply that when I report that I circulated a warning regarding some approaching earthquake, that that information cannot be verified or perhaps even trusted then I feel that this is unfortunate. But according to board posting rules I believe that you are free to express such opinions.
