53 Aftershocks of M>2.0 |
Correct me if I'm wrong, but as of 12:42am, there have been 53 aftershocks of M2.0 of greater on the Cal/Mex border after the M5.7 event. (It's been upgraded from 5.4 to 5.7) When's the last time something like this occured? On a strike-slip fault, what is the possibility of triggering a larger quake elsewhere? I know these questions are probably more rhetorical than anything else.
