Movement on San Andreas - Normal? |
Tough question. But, I'm curious. Take a look at the map of recent quakes in California - the graphical map with the little squares. See all the activity just south east of the Bay Area? See all of the activity in the San Diego-Mexican Border region? Notice that there's no activity in the Los Angeles Basin/San Joaquin Region? Is this normal? Or is that even possible to answer? Does anyone predict that the LA area might give in relation to the other movement on the fault? Just a layperson . . .
