Re: California rather quiet

I would like to encourage anyone reading this board who has a publishable theory
of earthquake triggering or generation or publishable data in relation to earthquake
sensitivity to contact Chris and see how this can be done. My own experience is
that the bar on this type of material is not just a little higher, but much higher,
as to make publication outside of anything sanctioned by academia or the USGS
very difficult indeed. But miracles have been know to occur before, so cling to
the hope that someone out there will be open-minded enough to at least take a look
at some of the ideas that have been presented on this board. And, in the meantime
keep forecasting and keep us all up to snuff on new ideas, developments and
theories any of you have. The only way to make progress is to communicate.
