Just to clear the air here - I'm not convinced yet that the ear tones have anything to do with earthquakes. EQF did his study with my data -

I had several tones and only 2 matched some far away quakes - I don't buy it yet - Not good enough for me. I like Lowell's correlation with x-ray flux and may have to do a little investigation into that arena with my ear tones.

They've been nearly silent for the last few weeks - the only thing I have been able to observe with them so far is that as they increse in frequency (quantity not pitch) chances are higher of a local 'feelable' quake. But I haven't documented that well enough yet either.

And if there is any relationship of ear-tones to quakes ( as some feel strongly that there is) there must be something that instruments can pick up once we figure out what is being heard.
