An unusually strong EM Signal was detected at 2013/12/17 21:14:00 UTC.

It is believed that this signal was likely pointing to the approach of a powerful and shallow earthquake that might occur within a week.

The signal was likely amplified by recent Mt. Etna volcano activity in Italy. And if that is the case then the expected earthquake could be an order of magnitude lower then the signal strength would suggest.

6.5 or higher if outside the U.S. and the signal had been amplified.

7.3 or higher if the earthquake is outside the U.S. and the signal was not amplified.

Much weaker than either of those numbers if the earthquake were headed for the main part of the U.S.

There is a strong line peak around 139E on the latest forecast chart. And that suggest possible activity to me in the Japan to Indonesia area.
