Re: Absolutely STUNNING Earthquake Forecasting Data – November 15, 2013 |
Roger, As I have frequently said, these posts are largely progress reports and warnings to researchers around the world that they should check their local precursor data NOW!!! I don't have time to argue with people. Plus, all of your questions have been answered repeatedly over the years. You just keep forgetting that they were answered. I have some other projects that I am also working on that are many, many times more important than forecasting earthquakes. One involving the creation of an international nonprofit foundation got formally underway last week. And if it is successful I expect that it will change our entire world for the better. Two others that involve the U.S. Government, other governments, and multiple nongovernmental organizations are scheduled to get formally underway this coming week. High level U.S. Policy Makers were already given a detailed report on one of them. And I believe that this particular project was subsequently briefly discussed in a U.S. Government press conference. The other one, if successful, should dramatically change the U.S. Government itself, hopefully for the better.
You can't tell this from the FORTRAN Newsgroup posts, but I was formally contacted by the staff of an important corporation about the translation effort. And they asked if I wanted them to help convert the program to modern FORTRAN. You could then prepare a True BASIC translation of that new program that we could then modify to make it more versatile. There is reportedly also a FORTRAN to True BASIC conversion program that could be used to automatically translate the modern version to True BASIC. So, would you like to talk with any of those people? The finished programs will be made available as freeware on my Web sites and also sent to researchers in Japan, India, and the People's republic of China and also probably given to those governments' earthquake research personnel. And there will probably be an effort to compare the program's ocean tide data with ocean tide data from the Tbone Web site. These are personal opinions.
