I take it TrueBasic must have a built in CSV function? And that is what's barfing? I've always had to write my own decoders so I guess that's why it doesn't seem a big deal to me. Also, I've actually never messed with CSV output, usually preferring some other format. But I just took a look at the Wikipedia article on the format, and if it's information is correct, that is a valid CSV formatted line. They give examples of empty fields and mixed alpha-numeric. Most importantly, there is no defined standard. I can understand the frustration, though. I've had to decode some really weird formats in the past.
