We apparently had blackouts in long beach already last saturday - I was out doing a fireworks show but that's what neighbors told us..

I personally think Nuclear is the way to go - given the amount of hazardous waste & pollution vs using coal/gas

We just don't' have enough sites for wind (kills birds at an alarming rate) and solar to make up for all of it..

Should be interesting.. another reason to move out of here.. but to where is the question.
