That sucks so much and you in no way deserve it. Sadly, we live in a litigious society that feasts on situations such as yours. Just remember that karma eventually comes around and when it does, it usually approaches from the rear. So, with any luck in your case, the bad guys will get the result of their karma with a snarling bite in the rear.
Yours will come around someday, too. Just remember that.
