Yes Brian---we have had several floods from nonvolcanic activity! The glaciers partly melt, the water gets jammed up on the mountain until something breaks. Happened in 1924 and again in the late 1990s (forget the date!). This one bears watching. The fire in Weed was much too close for comfort, especially since we were off in Washington State during this time! We're ok---if our well holds out!
