Update ... I thought I would adjust the longitude on this prediction to 130' 20' W
Why I should do this is a little confusing. Without resorting to reasons that (after recent conclusions) no longer exist, and alternatives may be deemed dis-respectful, I have no answer !
A 5.4 occurred yesterday on the Owen Fracture Zone, bearing 53' 47' E. My hypothesis claims an opposite reaction may occur, and this prediction location is where I believe it will happen. Unfortunately, if an event does occur here, it will only be regarded as a shotgun pellet. The hypothesis may show " potential " that a piece of the seismic puzzle may have been found, but the puzzle is only as good as the person who is fitting the pieces together ! so this is a no win scenario.
I have tried to combat loony mooners, law of averages and analogies to show this works. I recently spent horrendously long nights working on latitude, to show I could throw a dart and actually hit the bull " Because I had aimed for it ! ". I don't know much about shotguns, but it seems that if I hit the target here, I loose anyway !
To claim I accept the conclusion given to my efforts, expense and sacrifice ... would truly be an understatement !
I hope this one doesn't go off ... because I will be coming for my moneys worth if it does !!
Happy Hols
