Hi Billion, In a musician I can see both the left and right brain exercise. IE: the left brain captures the thought and tone of the music, with the right brain using the physical instrument to copy what the left brain has delivered. A true balance. When I wanted to know a bit more about seismologists I learned that most of them are also musicians. Some even have degrees in music, such as Leon Knopoff, UCLA. For me, I cannot play music, but I enjoy it emmensely. But the primary factor in my enjoyment must include lyrics that have a heart, soul and meaning. With these, when heard, one can take their mind to a new place in time and that presents healing qualities. Be it the type which is very romantic to one where you can't possibly sit and must dance, good lyrics are the answer. Of course there is only one exception, the 1812 overature. With that you must imagine you have the bandmasters stick and direct the musicians. LOL Keep on with the music, with a world so full of war, and the other negatives on an individual level, we all need more music. Petra
