It's interesting that several months after the 7.1 near Olympia in 1949 that there was a great quake not far from today's 5.7+. The February quakes epicenter was very close to that 7.1 and many months later there is a descent size quake in nearly the same location. I personally am glad that history hasn't exactly repeated itself. I'm thrilled that we didn't have a 7.1 in Feb. and I'm glad that this quake today in the Q.C.I. region wasn't an 8.1! We are having perpetual wind gusts here over 50mph today though. Everytime there is a strong gust outside, my monitor shakes. I don't really feel the house shaking but I know that it is because the pictures on the walls are vibrating and the monitor shaking it quite obvious.
