Is there a way when looking up micro quakes to tell if they are strike slip or Thrust?

The reason I ask is that I found a report from Cal Tech that talks about the W. Hollywood quake. The report mentioned that the increase in micro quakes before the 4.2 were strike slip oriented and strike slip activity the past decade in the basin had been dormant and appeared to be reawakening. So...I thought it would be a good idea to track the micro quakes that occur since then in the basin to see if they are strike or thrust just for referance and study.

So...anyone know a way of telling the difference?
