I think you're giving up to soon. Seems to me the cats are not settled down yet and so whatever is bothering them hasn't occurred yet. Maybe in a few more days something could happen, I'd say wait and see.

In a few days my cats can try out the new house. I can't wait to see what they will do first. The other day they didn't like the lightning at all and I don't know if they remember what rain is, but they've never moved before, so now I'll see how they handle this new experience. They've also never seen a fire in a fireplace, so I'm going to be extra careful to make sure they don't get to close and get burned. I don't know how much cats know naturally. Maybe they already know if its hot to stay clear?
